Q2. How regularly should I have my home cleaned?
A. The frequency of cleans is for you to decide, but our representative will discuss all the options with you to help you decide what frequency suits your particular circumstances. Because of our very thorough systematic cleaning system, most customers find that a weekly clean is perfect for them, but the choice is yours.
Q3. Do I have to sign a contract?
A. That is entirely up to you, our philosophy is simple- use our services for as long as you need and if we do a great job for you, then please tell your friends:)
Q4. What happens if I go on holiday?
A. Just call us with as much notice as possible. If you don’t require your home to be cleaned whilst you are away, then we just cancel that weeks clean and you pay nothing.
Q5. What happens if my clean falls on a Bank Holiday?
A. We operate normal working hours on bank holidays, if it’s no longer convenient to have a clean on a bank holiday, we can schedule that weeks clean for another time.
Q6. How can I be sure that my home will be secure?
A. At Transformers, we take the security of our customer’s homes very seriously. Keys are held under strict security, as are all security alarm codes and security gate codes. All our staff are police checked, and arrive uniformed. We are fully insured with public and employer liability and fidelity bonding in place.
Q7. Do I have to provide you with keys?
A. Most of our customers do, because it is more convenient for them not to have to be there when our staff are due but, if you would prefer to be at home when our staff call, then that is not a problem.
Q8. What if something is not cleaned properly?
A. Call backs are extremely rare due to our exhaustive cleaning and checking procedures, but customers have the peace of mind of knowing that we will get it right first time or fix it for free. If anything should ever go wrong, no matter how slight, then simply call us, and we will rectify it quickly and without fuss.
Q9. Do you charge by the hour?
A. When we provide you with our free, no obligation, quotation, we explain the standard of service that you can expect, and we will stick to that price if you decide to become a regular customer. All quotations include VAT. That way, you know precisely how much you pay for each clean, and staff do not leave your home until they have completed the work according to that specification.
Q10. Do I have to provide my own cleaning materials?
A. No. Our team of highly-trained cleaning professionals arrive with all the materials, equipment and solutions required to complete the work agreed. If you prefer us to use your own materials for whatever reason, however, then that is of course fine. All our cleaning solutions are designed so that nothing that might be harmful to your home or to the environment is used.
Q11. What about my personal documents?
A. We pride ourselves on our absolute discretion, and guarantee that our staff will never read your personal correspondence. They will, with your prior permission, tidy papers, etc. into piles, but will never throw away anything that is not already in a waste bin.
Q12. When and how do I pay?
A. You pay after each clean. Payment can be made by cheque or cash, whichever is most convenient for you. Most of our customers prefer to pay by cash because they find that it is the most convenient.
Q13. Can I meet the staff?
A. Yes, of course you can. All our staff have been police checked, and we are fully insured and fidelity bonded. We believe that it is important, whenever it is convenient to you, for our customers to meet our staff so that you feel comfortable about who is coming into your home.

A. Very. In addition to our standard cleans, we provide a range of additional services to cover situations such as when visitors come to stay, after parties, oven and window cleaning, gardening… the list is endless.
